Progression Programme of the Year Award – sponsored by the London Town Group

Winner: Metro Bank

Property investment company London Town Group intends to carry out a multimillion-pound refurbishment of the 79-bedroom Ramada Leicester Stage hotel following its acquisition from Lester Hotels for an undisclosed sum.

Born and raised in Britain, Koolesh Shah has spent his entire life in the hotel business. The London Town Group was the first to launch IHG’s Indigo hotel brand in the UK, a measure of the reputation the group enjoys with the big hotel brands.
