Koolesh Shah

Founder / Chairman

Born and raised in Britain, Koolesh Shah founded London Town Group in 1988. From humble beginnings, Koolesh has grown the group into a multi million pound corporation focused on cutting-edge performance in four main pillars - Real Estate, Philanthropy, Energy and Technology. Koolesh was named Hotelier of the Year at the Asian Business Awards.

Koolesh is a devotee of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother and is Chairman of Sri Aurobindo Trust. Thanks to the generous support of the Trust, SOAS has offered modules on ‘Modern Indian Philosophy’ for the last three years, with a specific focus on the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

Koolesh has been involved in the Jain community, having been President of the Jain Social Group London a role he held between 1986 and 1996. The organisation has over 60,000 members and 425 groups worldwide.

He was a founder member of the Vanik Business Group, which enabled the business community to further engage together and mutually flourish.

Koolesh actively supports Making The Leap, which is a charity focused on promoting social mobility in the community through inspirational speaking and mentoring opportunities to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Sandeep Cheema

Commercial Director

Sandeep joined LTG in 2009 as Group Revenue Director and was appointed Group Commercial Director in 2018. In her role, Sandeep is responsible for the company’s global growth pursuits and empowering LTG’s commercial teams to fuel the company’s development pipeline.

A forward-thinking and solutions-focused person, Sandeep has over 15 years of hospitality operations, finance, real estate, brand management and development experience and has excelled in several executive positions, she directly oversees the daily running of the commercial sales & revenue team whilst also driving the strategic growth activities of the company.

Sandeep has extensive experience in identifying and undertaking financial analysis of new and existing real estate opportunities. Sandeep has raised over £200millian of financing assignments that include acquisition financing, refinancing and development loans.

Sandeep has a background in investment finance specifically as a global data analyst at Bloomberg LP; sourcing big datasets and analysing patterns, the pioneers of big data.

Edward Wilcock

Edward Wilcock

Revenue Director

Edward graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Cambridge after reading Natural Sciences, specialising in Astrophysics. In 2008 he joined London Town Group as a Revenue Analyst and has now progressed to become the Group Director of Revenue, central to LTG's strategic development decisions.

An expert in pricing and revenue strategy, Edward has studied 'Advanced Hospitality Revenue Management: Pricing and Demand Strategies' at Cornell University and 'Leadership and Management' at City, University of London.

With over 12 years of experience in hospitality, Edward has successfully launched new hotels, rebranded hotels and navigated through both growing and declining markets.

Madhukar Shah

Madhukar Shah

E-commerce Director

Following his science degree, Madhukar joined LTG in 2000. Leading the web development team, he built one of the first hotel websites and booking engines at the time.

Over the years, Madhukar has mastered the evolving skills of search engine optimisation, working closely with Google and other companies to achieve high online visibility.

As London Town Group continues to expand, Madhukar continues to develop effective e-commerce strategies and has created and launched more than 50 websites so far.

Madhukar remains at the forefront of new trends in e-commerce, digital marketing, and web development, ensuring the group conquers all new digital territories.

Victoria Crampton

Marketing Director

A digital marketing specialist, with a background in Information Technology Management for Business. Victoria Crampton read Information Technology Management for Business at Loughborough University before writing on Web 2.0, social media published by the British Computer Society.

She now serves as Marketing Director of LTG, assisting the brands in engaging with the target markets using offline and digital marketing tools.
